Halifax Hospital Port Orange features patient care areas that blend technology and design to enhance treatment and recovery. All rooms are spacious and light with large windows, providing a peaceful, soothing, healing environment. Wireless Internet access is available in all patient rooms.

The spacious family waiting areas also are equipped with wireless Internet access. These areas are designed to accommodate family members' needs including comfortable furniture, a television, vending machines and other amenities.

The hospital's third floor houses 20 private and nine semi-private medical/surgical patient rooms. The eight-bed intensive care unit and the hospital's surgical suites and related waiting areas are located on the fourth floor. The hospital's fifth floor has 20 private and seven semi-private medical/surgical patient rooms. Many of the patient rooms can accommodate a patient's loved one for overnight stays.
