GI Laboratory

Diagnostic endoscopy is performed in the patient's room at the bedside, in a specially equipped surgery suite, or in Imaging Services depending on each patient's individual needs. The GI lab offers a full range of services with state-of-the-art equipment and care provided by registered nurses and physicians trained in endoscopy. Department services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Outpatients are scheduled for procedures Tuesday through Friday, to best meet the needs of the patients and their families.
